Reduct is an unofficial client created by DoruDoLasu. It was the first proper third-party Revolt client made by a community member. Many clients, including Retaped, are based off of Reduct. The name of Reduct is a play off the official client Revite. The 'duct' being a reference to 'duct tape'.

Development

Reduct has gone through numerous iterations over its life.

Reduct (v1)

The initial version of Reduct didn't officially have a version number but is referred to as v1.

Reduct v3

The latest version of Reduct with numerous improvements over the previous iterations.

Source Code

Reduct is open-source under the MIT licence. The code for v1 is available on GitHub. The code for v3 is available on Codeberg.
