Reduct is an unofficial client created by DoruDoLasu. It was the first proper third-party Revolt client made by a community member. Many clients, including Retaped, are based off of Reduct. The name of Reduct is a play off the official client Revite. The 'duct' being a reference to 'duct tape'.
