Insert (real name Paul Makles) is a programmer from Poland, who moved to the UK, probably for the purposes of education. Insert is known in the community as the creator of Revolt. Their other projects include a chat app called RIOT (Revolt's ancestor) and a streaming service called LightSpeed. Insert took up programming in 2012, when they were 9 years old. They are now doing an integrated masters course at King's College, London. Insert created many smaller projects in Rust and TypeScript, such as the 74 bot, some libraries, a Minecraft launcher, and a couple of games. They also contributed to the Polish translation of Revolt.
